Panorama Accommodation

Panorama Mountain Village is built into the side of a mountain - the higher level is called the upper village, and the level beside Toby Creek at the bottom of the hill is known as the lower village, or Creekside.

The upper and lower areas are linked by a free open-air gondola lift that's located towards the centre of the resort, which means that no-one has to walk more than a few minutes to reach it!

In the lower village, the Panorama accommodation that Compass Tours offers are the townhouse complexes of Aurora and Riverside. Also located in this area are the grocery/liquor/video store, the Jackpine bar, and a pool (summer only).

At the foot of the village gondola is a suspension bridge that leads across the creek to the activity centre where you'll find the mini-golf course, the tennis courts, and the jumping-off point for several other summer activities.

Panorama lodging in the upper village includes the Hearthstone and Lookout townhouse complexes, the Earl Grey Lodge bed-and-breakfast, and all the lodges: Ski Tip, Tamarack, 1000 Peaks, 1000 Peaks Summit, Panorama Springs, and Taynton. The lodges encircle the base of the Mile 1 quad chairlift and the hot pool complex. Access to the pool complex is through the Panorama Springs Lodge, and is free to all guests who're spending the night in the resort.

Also in the upper village are some retail outlets, a rental and repair shop (skis/boards in winter, bikes in summer), along with the Great Hall day lodge, the T-Bar & Grill, the Picnic Deli, the Mile High Pizza Company, and the Wildfire Grill.

Earl Grey Lodge

Ski Tip and Tamarack are the most central of the lodges, if you want to be right in the middle of the action! The furthest upper village lodgings from the central lift-base area, the Taynton and Hearthstone complexes, are less than ten minutes' walk away.

All of the lodges are ski in/ski out, offering guests the easiest access to the slopes and winter activities. The Hearthstone and Lookout townhomes, and the Earl Grey Lodge bed-and-breakfast, are across the street from ski in/ski out. The Aurora complex has a ski-bridge nearby for easy return at the end of your day on the slopes, and its just a short walk to the base of the village gondola or Toby Chair for ski hill access in the morning! The Riverside townhomes are situated at the base of the village gondola.

The Greywolf Golf Course clubhouse, on one of Canada's leading public courses, is just a couple of minutes' drive from Panorama Mountain Village, and there are several other quality courses within an hour's drive, too!
