Skiing And Snowboarding
Panorama boasts one of North America's highest verticals of about 1200m (4000ft), with almost 2850 patrolled acres and around 500cm (200in) of snowfall each winter. There are over 120 runs, of which 20% are beginner, 55% are intermediate or advanced, and 25% are expert, accessed by 9 lifts that have an uphill capacity of 8500 people per hour. Heliskiing
The Purcell Mountain Range boasts some of the best heliskiing playgrounds in the world! And you don't have to be an expert - the minimum requirement is that you be a long-radius parallel skier, be reasonably fit, and ski blue runs with confidence - no off-piste (ungroomed), powder or tree skiing experience necessary! Snowmobiling
From beginner to more experienced, this is one adventure you don't want to miss! All tours begin with instruction from one of our experienced guides, followed by a session in our huge open playfield where you become familiar with your machine and learn how to handle it on one of our obstacle courses! Once you're comfortable and ready to do, we head for the hills! Tours range from two to five hours, including an evening tour with a barbecue cookout, and a high performance outing for intermediate to advanced sledders! Dog Sledding
On your dog sledding adventure you'll travel as the hardy pioneers did to the base of Delphine Glacier. Cross Country Skiing
The Greywolf Nordic Centre, and Carrick's Restaurant, are open daily from just after Christmas through to early April, conditions permitting. Boasting over 20km (12mi) of groomed and trackset nordic skiing trails, centre also offers cross country skiing lessons and supplies in the retail store. Carrick's Restaurant offers quick service and great food in a quiet, casual atmosphere.
Snowshoeing
No experience necessary! You can take a guided tour, or just rent the gear and head out to the trail. Hike through the quiet of the winter forest and enjoy the exceptional views of the valley and surrounding mountain peaks.
Resort Activities
There's a myriad of resort activities that you and your family can participate in: Game show night, friends and family campfire, mountain theatre, entertainers, and the winter wonderland night. Some events are age-appropriate and designed for children and teens, some events are free, some have a charge, some are weekly events, some are occasional - ask us for details if any of these sound interesting!
