Panorama Mountain Village
Compass Tours

Panorama Mountain Village clings to the mountainside, like a traditional Tyrolean village with a Canadian twist, snug in an elevated valley of the Purcell Mountains of beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Panorama resort is a boutique destination, catering to those who want to truly experience and enjoy a mountain environment without the Big City bright lights, bells and whistles! This village offers a great apres ski atmosphere - without the wild party scene!
There's high speed internet access and cell phone service, if you want them!
They say good things come in small packages - and its true, because there's plenty of fun to be had in Panorama! Its a great family holiday destination!
In winter, which runs from early December to early April, experience some of the best skiing and boarding available in Canada! With the second-highest vertical in the country, and slopes that range from the gentlest of bunny slopes through challenging intermediate cruisers, mogul runs, and half pipe, to World Cup quality double black diamond runs, there's something for everyone!
There's first-class heliskiing, too, along with an extensive network of cross country ski trails at the Beckie Scott Nordic Centre.
Non-skiers/boarders can enjoy their snow holidays here, too, with plenty of alternative winter activities ... sample the hot pool complex, relax with new friends in the saloon, read a good book beside the fire, or take a tour - snowmobiling, ice fishing, dog sledding!
Summer brings emerald tees, greens and fairways to the renowned Greywolf Golf Course, which was voted runner-up as Canada's best new course the year it opened!
Within an hour's drive are several other great courses: Eagle Ranch, Copper Point, Radium and Fairmont! There's a Panorama golf course for everyone!
The golf courses open during May and other activities slowly follow suit, with the main part of summer being mid-June through early October.
Summer activities include the hot pool complex with its two water slides, downhill mountain biking and trail riding, hiking, atv tours, horseback riding, tennis, mini-golf, river rafting and kayaking, fishing, and alpine sightseeing by chairlift.
Getting to Panorama is easy! Its about four hours' drive from Calgary International Airport along a scenic route - one of the most spectacular drives in the world! In winter, there's a scheduled shuttle service.
Compass Tours is proud to offer both winter and summer Canadian mountain holidays to this "intimate by design" village.
