Panorama Resort
Compass Tours is proud to be associated with Panorama Resort, located in the province of British Columbia, in the Purcell Mountains, just west of the Rocky Mountain Range, and about 300km (about 190mi) from Calgary.
Panorama offers skiing and snowboarding during the winter months, early December to early April, along with winter activities like cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.
During summer, mid-May to early October, the focus shifts to golfing and other summer activities such as atv tours, mountain biking, and hiking.
There is accommodation for 3,000 guests, and visitors are served by over 400 employees.
The resort does not publish Panorama weather statistics, eg: average temperatures, snowfall measurements, etc. However, the advertised average winter temperature is -5C (about 25F) and average annual snowfall is 479cm (about 188in).
